Does NCAE really put the Child's Education first?

Bank of America had a tv ad a few years ago that was very powerful. As I recall that voice over, “it's not that we execute 1 Billion transactions per day, its that we do each one perfectly, 1 billion times”

Could this be similar to k-12 education? For generations, our society worked because as a society, we insisted on it. We refused to accept failure. We can’t accept failure now.

But the NCAE is willing to sacrifice opportunities to minority students in the effort to stifle the Opportunity Scholarship Program from the state. A program providing tuition resources for those that choose to attend schools of their choice. Let’s see, NCAE is fighting to protect one size fits all government-controlled schools. State money should follow the student, based on the parent's decision on where the child will receive the best education for that child.

Shouldn’t the objective of K-12 education, regardless of where delivered be about the Child? Shouldn’t its goal be that on graduation day, every student should walk across the stage truly prepared for college, careers, and life?

Unfortunately the Janus v. AFSCME decision has not sufficiently defanged the NEA/AFT. Vouchers NOW! The COVID debacle is actually HELPING this cause.
